Classic, fresh, savoury.
Made from grapes grown primarily on the Fort Berens estate in the new GI of Lillooet, but still blended with some from the Okanagan, the vintage of the their Cab Franc shows some real Old World nuances. Red currents and pencil shavings, tealeaf and savoury spices, sit atop green bell peppers and briny green olive notes. It is medium-bodied and fresh, the palate mimics the savoury, saline character of the nose. Good balance here, integrated tannins and a spicy tealeaf finish.
